More about Miss Racheal

01.

What does Miss Racheal love most about working for Capers Childcare?

My journey in early childhood began in 2015, though my passion was sparked much earlier through watching my mum’s dedication and love for the early years. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong philosophy grounded in mutual respect for our families and our little people, with an emphasis on their emerging sense of self identity. I believe children thrive when they feel valued, empowered, and connected to their learning community.

02.

What is Miss Racheal passionate about in the early years?

My teaching practice places a strong focus on social and emotional development, helping children build confidence, empathy, and self-awareness. I’m passionate about creating a collaborative and inclusive curriculum that reflects each child’s voice, cultural identity, and contribution—drawing on my own Aboriginal heritage to embed meaningful perspectives and connection to Country.

03.

What does Miss Racheal like doing outside of Capers Childcare?

Outside of the classroom, I have a young family including my daughter Mahli and our family dog Jessie. In our spare time we enjoy camping, and exploring the wonderful world that surrounds us.
