Capers Early Learning Mango Hill offers a nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to six years. With eight rooms and four unique outdoor play areas, children explore and learn in natural spaces, including a program with chickens. The centre emphasises a sense of belonging, child-led learning, and family involvement through interactive educational software. The team promotes sustainability and community connection, embracing the natural beauty of the Mango Hill area.
“We acknowledge the Kabi Kabi people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, learn and play. We recognise their continued connection to the land, waterways and community.”
We believe children are curious and capable learners who deserve to feel safe, valued, and truly seen every day. Our learning spaces allow children to be active partners in their learning, shaping experiences through their interests, voices, and imaginations. The Rights of the Child guide everything we do, with wellbeing and safety always coming first. Our leaders and educators work together in a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous growth to support one another to do our best work.
We celebrate diversity, honour all cultures, and proudly respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as we learn to care for each other and for Country. Together with our community, we nurture curiosity, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.
All of our educators hold relevant qualifications for their roles or are studying towards these. Our Educators are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and provide all children with equal opportunities within our play based environment.
We offer an approved kindergarten program which follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). Our Kindergarten area features extensive outdoor play spaces, that challenge and assist in building coordination and agility as well as encourage playing with others.

Our vision is to get back to nature and give children the opportunity to learn about sustainability and our local community. This is supported by teaching children the importance of our environment and by embracing the beautiful nature, lakes and gardens that surround our Centre in the Mango Hill community.
