Our 6-room Centre is located in the peaceful rural community of Elimbah just north of Caboolture and next to the Elimbah State Primary School. We believe in educating the whole child and much of our day is spent exploring our surrounding environments both indoor and outdoor. These environments provide a rich and diverse range of experiences that stimulate, engage and enhance children’s development and learning. Children's learning is our main priority, as well as their needs to feel safe and supported. Capers Early Learning Elimbah have a large number of Educators who have been with us for many years, meaning familiar faces for your little ones year after year.
At our Elimbah centre, we view children as curious, capable, and full of potential. All of our educators hold relevant qualifications for their roles or are studying towards these. Our Educators are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and provide all children with equal opportunities within our play based environment.
Miss Lisa is one of our Support Managers who has been working in childcare since 1991 with her describing it as an incredibly rewarding journey. She has been with the Capers Early Learning team for over 15years and holds an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood. Miss Lisa offers years upon years of experience, with reputable knowledge and support for our team.
Miss Terri is the Centre Manager at our Elimbah Centre. Miss Terri's career in Early Childhood began in 1994 and holds an Associate Diploma of Education (Childcare). Miss Terri has been apart of the Capers Early Learning family since 2008.
Miss Danni is the Assistant Manager at our Elimbah Centre. Miss Danni’s career in Early Childhood began in 1995 and holds a Diploma in Children’s Services. Miss Danni has been apart of the Capers Early Learning family since 2014.
Miss Tahnae has been part of the Capers Early Learning Family since 2015 and is well known around the centre for her bubbly and caring personality. You will often find Miss Tahnae right in the mix of it all, playing, dancing, and laughing with the children.
Miss Leona is one of our ECT's at Capers Early Learning Elimbah where she holds a certificate lll in Early Childhood Education and Care along with her currently in her final year of studies in Bachelor of Early Childhood & Primary Education.
Miss Lauren is one of our ECTs at our Elimbah centre. She has a Bachelor of Teaching qualification from New Zealand with over 10 years of experience working in Early Childhood.
We offer an approved kindergarten program which follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). Our Kindergarten area features extensive outdoor play spaces, that challenge and assist in building coordination and agility as well as encourage playing with others.
Our community aims to serve as a key partner in our service where we encourage families, educators, and children to infiltrate their values into the wider areas of Elimbah. We aim to encourage children to become responsible partners in environmental awareness and sustainability through sustainable practices. We encourage our small community to become more aware of the local and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, the Gubbi Gubbi people, where our educators embed these cultural aspects into their daily programs and learning environments.
