Capers Early Learning Nambour offers a state-of-the-art facility for children aged six weeks to six years, combining large outdoor play spaces with creative indoor learning areas. Open from 6:30am to 6:30pm, the centre features adaptable environments, including a dedicated nursery and bush kindy. With a focus on whole-child education, the inclusive program supports individual needs, fostering growth, development and a sense of community.

Here at Capers Early Learning Nambour, we recognise the importance of the early years, aiming to provide an environment that is warm, welcoming and with a great sense of community. For each child, family, and educator to be able to feel a sense of belonging within our service each day. We believe that the early years is the time for a child to be able to take part in life’s experiences and explore the world that surrounds them, by providing them with opportunities, and a variety of outdoor environments, including our bush kindy area which is visited every day. We believe children develop a sense of being by taking the time to investigate, imagine and explore in each and every moment. And we continue to create an environment for children to be able to develop and create their own identity, becoming an active participant in our community.
All of our educators hold relevant qualifications for their roles or are studying towards these. Our Educators are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and provide all children with equal opportunities within our play based environment.
Miss Samara has been part of Early years for the past 10years with her studying part time over the years to recently gaining her Bachelor in Early Childhood Teaching last year. Miss Samara also holds a diploma in Illustration, so she tends to use the skills she has gathered over the years to incorporate these skills into helping children grow and learn.
Miss Lisa is one of our Support Managers who has been working in childcare since 1991 with her describing it as an incredibly rewarding journey. She has been with the Capers Early Learning team for over 15years and holds an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood. Miss Lisa offers years upon years of experience, with reputable knowledge and support for our team.
Miss Milli is the Assistant Manager at our Nambour Centre. Miss Millis’s Early childhood career began in 2020 and holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Miss Milli has been apart of the Capers Early Learning family since 2022.
We offer an approved kindergarten program which follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). Our Kindergarten area features extensive outdoor play spaces, that challenge and assist in building coordination and agility as well as encourage playing with others.
Our senior children delight in 2 exploration areas, including our bush kindy, with ample free space, trees, climbing logs, a vegetable patch, sandpit with room to roam, ride bikes and use imaginative play.
