With a background in design and development all of our early learning education centres are purpose-built, allowing children to learn and grow through play, whether it’s a state of the art new structure, each Capers Early Learning Centre offers a unique and interesting learning environment.
We provide a play based learning program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), a National Early Years Curriculum that extends from the children’s interests. We create settings to invite experiences, interactions, risk-taking, discovery, connections to nature, conversations, play and collaboration.
Our Facilities – all of our centres offer our spacious, natural outdoor environments promote a healthy learning space where children can get in touch with nature, enjoy our gardens, outdoor play equipment, bike tracks as well as sensory experiences.
Meals and Nutrition – We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as well as a late afternoon snack, all included as part of your fees. All of our meals are prepared by our in-house cooks and meet the Australian Nutritional Guidelines.
Family Communication – each and everyday you will have access to stories from your child’s day, including a day book detailing their meals, sleeps and toilet visits. We use Educa as our parent platform and it’s a great way to see what your little one has been up to that day.
All of our educators hold relevant qualifications for their roles or are studying towards these. Our Educators are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and provide all children with equal opportunities within our play based environment.
Miss Jac is one of our Support Managers & centre manager for our brand new Pumicestone Bush Kindy centre for Capers Early Learning. Miss Jac’s career in Early Childhood began in 2016 and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Miss Jac has been apart of the Capers Early Learning family since 2016.
Miss Tiff is a dedicated member of the Capers family, where she appreciates the endless opportunities for leadership and growth. With a passion for early childhood education, she understands the importance of the first five years of a child's life and strives to provide enriching experiences for learning and laughter.
Miss Cat is one of our ECT's at our Pumicestone center with us super excited to join the Capers Early Learning Team with her having over 20years of experience working with children. Miss Cat has had the privilege of supporting young learnser in roles such as a qualified nanny, reading tutor, ESL teacher, teaching assitant and Early Childhood Educator and now as a Early Learning Teacher at Capers.
We offer an approved kindergarten program which follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). Our Kindergarten area features extensive outdoor play spaces, that challenge and assist in building coordination and agility as well as encourage playing with others.
Capers Early Learning offers all children, the opportunity to explore a Bush Kindy environment including their very own chicken pen and purpose build Bush Kindy playground. Kids Capers Bush Kindy – Elimbah will be nestled amongst stunning greenery and bushland in which our Kindergarten program have supervised access to explore and learn whilst taking considered risks in a safe environment. Nature play stimulates creativity and problem solving, builds confidence and supports emotional wellbeing.
