Miss Kara is our Assitant Centre Manager & Educational Leader at our Samford centre. Miss Kara has always had passion for working with children for as long as she can remember. Her Early Childhood journey began in 2020, Miss Kara holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. She loves coming to work every day to help make education fun, exciting and inclusive for all the little people in our community and with her commenting she is very grateful to have the opportunity to play a key part in the first 5 years of a child’s life.
Miss Kara's favourite thing about working at Capers Early Learning is that we are given the opportunities to bring our individual skills and values into each service and work collaboratively with wonderful educators to make a difference to the lives of every child in our care. Capers encourages and supports educators to grow not only as educators but also as individuals, this has allowed Miss Kara to grow from a student studying her certificate III all the way to the leader she is today.
Miss Kara is deeply passionate about creating an inclusive space that embraces diversity and helps children to feel safe, loved and ready to learn. As a sibling carer, Miss Kara is committed to supporting children on their individual learning journeys no matter what they look like or any challenges they may face and working alongside families to ensure they feel supported and valued.
Outside of work, Miss Kara loves to do all things creative; from colouring to musical theatre and everything in between. You’ll often find Miss Kara singing and dancing with the children throughout the day.
