Miss Leona is one of our ECT's at Capers Early Learning Elimbah where she holds a certificate lll in Early Childhood Education and Care along with her currently in her final year of studies in Bachelor of Early Childhood & Primary Education.
Miss Leona loves working at Capers Early Learning as it gives her a community feel and instant sense of belonging even back when she orginally did her first placement for Uni at the centre. She loves the children first and foremost along with watching them grow.
Miss Leona is passionate about making meaningful learning experiences that allow children to explore, question and discover at their own pace. Miss Leona believes in fostering a sense of belonging, curiosity and confidence where each child feels valued.
Outside of Capers Early Learning Miss Leona loves spending time with her husband and four children (keep her very busy) She also loves camping, drawing and creativity.
