Miss Louisa began working in Childcare in 2014 and has loved it ever since. As part of her professional journey, she completed a diploma in Early Childhood and have loved the opportunities it has opened up for her. Miss Louisa is so excited to continue on this journey as she learns and grows alongside her fellow educators and the children.
Miss Louisa loves that Capers has a focus on the outdoors and supporting children to learn about and through nature. Miss Louisa is thrilled to be given the opportunity to engage with children in our beautiful outdoor spaces during busy play and quiet moments. She also loves the community at Capers and with it there is constant opportunity to go out into the community or to invite the community in. Miss Louisa believes in children’s capacity to act as important and valued community members and that they deserve to be a part of it.
Miss Louisa has always wanted to work in early childhood. The way children learn and being able to support that has interested her for as long as she can remember. Miss Louisa is huge advocate for play based learning and am constantly amazed by the things children explore and learn through play. She strongly believes that each child is on their own learning journey and will learn as they are ready, children are eager to learn and that one of our primary roles is to support them in that journey. Miss Louisa loves being part of an early learning community and working alongside Children, Families, and educators to curate spaces that support children’s learning and development.
Outside of Capers Miss Louisa loves spending time at the beach and with her dog, Winston! She has a large family with lots of nieces and nephews that she loves spending time with.
