My name is Vicky, and I feel incredibly fortunate to join the wonderful Capers Early Learning, Nambour community as the new Centre Manager.
With over 17 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, I have had the privilege of working in both my home country, South Korea, and here in Australia. Throughout my career, I have supported children and families directly and mentored fellow professionals along the way.
Slow pedagogy and nature-based environments which Capers values deeply is inspirational as it encourages children to pause, observe, and form meaningful connections with the world around them.
As both an Educator and a member of the leadership team, my passion lies in creating an environment where children, families, and educators feel valued, respected, and inspired. My journey in ECEC has shaped my belief that every connection we make contributes to a strong sense of belonging – not only for our children, but for everyone who walks through our doors.
It’s about creating safe and nurturing environments where children can build confidence, develop self-respect, and grow into capable, independent individuals.
It’s about building the PLACE, where we feel connected, support each other and share our life journeys with love and laughter.
