Since 2005, we’ve been part of the Clayfield community, featuring engaging outdoor environments and a culturally rich team. The centre emphasises child led exploration supported by its nurturing educators dedicated to helping each child reach their own unique potential. Children enjoy community excursions, Bush Kindy and Nature play and hands on learning in our adventure playground. Our educational programs grow happy childhood memories including growing food, climbing trees and making mud pies.

All of our educators hold relevant qualifications for their roles or are studying towards these. Our Educators are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and provide all children with equal opportunities within our play based environment.
Miss Lisa is one of our Support Managers who has been working in childcare since 1991 with her describing it as an incredibly rewarding journey. She has been with the Capers Early Learning team for over 15years and holds an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood. Miss Lisa offers years upon years of experience, with reputable knowledge and support for our team.
Miss Tammy is our Centre Manager for Capers Clayfield and ECT Mentor for the company. Miss Tammy’s career in Early Childhood began in 2007 and holds a Bachelor of Education. Miss Tammy has been apart of the Capers Early Learning family since 2017. Miss Tammy is a proud mum of 2 and strongly believes the first 1000 days are the most important in children's development.
Miss Brodie’s career in Early Childhood began in 2013 and holds a Diploma of Children’s Services. Miss Brodie has been apart of the Capers Early Learning family since 2014.
Miss Shana is the Educational Leader at our Clayfield Centre. Miss Shana’s career in Early Childhood began in 2001 and holds a Diploma in Children’s Services. Miss Shana has been apart of the Capers Early Learning family since 2008.
Mr Jimmy is one of our ECT'S at our Clayfield center whom joined our Capers Early Learning team back in 2023 with him having a Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care. Along with a past background in performing & fitness Mr Jimmy uses these skills to introduce to the children, showing that emotional, mental and physical growth can coincide with the fundamentals of Early Years growth.
Miss Meenu is one of our ECT's at our Clayfield centre and joined the Capers Early Learning family back in 2022. Miss Meenu has several degrees being in Master of Arts in English literature and Master of Business Administration, also has a certificate in Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
We offer an approved kindergarten program which follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). Our Kindergarten area features extensive outdoor play spaces, that challenge and assist in building coordination and agility as well as encourage playing with others.
At Capers Early learning Clayfield we are lucky to have vast newly renovated outdoor areas for our children that are saturated in natural light. Our Children are supported and encouraged to play, imagine, take risks and get messy! With 3 different water play areas, mud kitchens, open ended areas and trees to climb the sky is the limit!
Our passionate leadership team has over 75+ years of knowledge and experience whose strengths of Inclusion, Culture and Mentoring combine to create a supportive working environment that our team of long standing staff members are, encouraged and lead by example.
