Capers Early Learning North Lakes, established in January 2010, offers a nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to six years. With 170 places across 11 rooms, each opening to verandas and natural play spaces, children explore and grow in age-appropriate settings. The centre’s state-of-the-art design encourages respect for the environment, with features like logs, rocks, gardens and a native beehive. All this and more fostering capable and resourceful learners through supportive, autonomy-driven education.
“We would like to recognise the traditional landowners, the Gubbi Gubbi people, on whose land we play and learn each day.”
Here at Capers Early Learning North Lakes, we recognise that children come first and learn best through play. We support each child’s curiosity to create, explore and experiment through all their senses. We encourage and support all aspects of their learning and development.
All of our educators hold relevant qualifications for their roles or are studying towards these. Our Educators are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and provide all children with equal opportunities within our play based environment.
We offer an approved kindergarten program which follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). Our Kindergarten area features extensive outdoor play spaces, that challenge and assist in building coordination and agility as well as encourage playing with others.
Our Centre offers 170 places, across 11 rooms, and incorporates state of the art design. We encourage all children to respect their environment by appreciating all that it has to offer. We support children to safely explore their environments which comprise of logs, rocks, sand, dirt, grass, gardens and even our very own native beehive.
